We specialise in new manufacture and repair of Dragline and Face Shovel rope sheaves and drums, pins and bushes, walking frames, cams and shafts, fairlead and boom point assemblies, hydraulic excavator load rollers and drive sprockets as well as all structural repairs and the associated machining requirements for booms, side frames, car bodies, upper frame modules, dippers and buckets.
Our accredited Welding Supervisors lead a team of certified Welders and Boilermakers experienced in all facets of steel fabrication and manual and automated welding processes including Submerged Arc, TIG and MIG as well as our patented ABClad hard surfacing wear reclamation process.
We have a comprehensive range of specialised welding booms, rotators, manipulators, rolls and purpose built jigs to position and control work pieces up to 150 tonnes.
Our interconnected high clearance / heavy lift workshop section is 90m long x 30 wide x 16m high. It has 4 dragline bucket arch pits and 150t overhead crane lifting capacity with 12m under hook clearance. This section has been tailor made to carry out large specialised works such as buckets and dippers, truck bodies, the manufacture and trial assemble of large structural components such as dragline tubs, revolving frames, booms and masts, drill rig over hauls, underground mining equipment assembly and repairs including continuous miners and long wall supports, assembly / disassembly / repairs to large hydraulic excavators, dozers,industrial plant and equipment.
