ABC Heavy Engineering utilize 3D modelling software (Solidworks) to provide conceptual and workshop drawings for new and reverse engineered products that comply with AS1100 – 1992.
We are able to provide customers with CAD models in 3D to accompany general arrangement and detail drawings. The software also allows our engineers to utilise Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Structural analysis using FEA is beneficial for new design as well as for reverse engineering. Designs are optimized to ensure the most efficient materials and processes are used. Reverse engineered products are assessed to identify areas that can be improved through design enhancements. Existing components are checked and modified to remove stress concentrations.
