ABC Heavy Engineering has the most modern and comprehensive commercial Induction Hardening facility in Queensland.
It is comprised of various units from 200kw to 400kw with frequencies ranging from 3kh to 10kh.
Although we primarily utilise our induction hardeningcapacity internally across our broad range of manufactured and or refurbished products and components including large diameter slew bearings, rope drums and sheaves, shafts, pins, bushes, load rollers, drive sprockets, etc, we do provide induction hardening and Stress Relieving services to external customers on a commercial basis.
Our Heat Treatment department has a large capacity computerised gas fired oven for both stress relieving and normalizing heat treatments.
